I have had this plant for years. This year I set it out on my back deck (remember it is on the totally shaded south side of my house). It got lots of early summer rain. Normally, when it is in the house, I seldom water it, so this was a big change for this plant. Anyway...all that to say...it did something it has never done before. It sent up a flower stock. It has stayed looking nice for a couple weeks now. What a great surprise!
